E-business infuses organizations today with new energy and possibilities. E-business models provide organizations with a means to increase their competitive advantage, obtain global reach and enhance customer service by providing customers, partners and employees with secure access to business-critical information.
PassGo's secure Web access solution, Webthority, allows organizations to provide the right information to the right people at the right time to enable informed business decisions. |

Webthority is designed to control access to valuable data and reduce the cost of managing security in heterogeneous, distributed Web server environments.
Now you can offer customers, partners and employees secure, browser-based access to your corporate information with a single integrated security solution. When securing access to corporate data is critical, trust nothing less than the most advanced Web security product.
Webthority's advanced product architecture provides sophisticated and secure control of valuable e-business data by handling user identification, authorization and access control through the combination of proxy, authentication and central management services. |
Central Management Service
Configure and manage the proxy and authentication services from a single Web console with the central management service (CMS). Intuitive and easy-to-use, the CMS lets administrators manage Webthority from anywhere on the Web. This will save time and increase responsiveness. |
|
Session Management Service
The session management service manages sessions for the proxy service and includes a variety of features such as the ability to create unique sessions for each user on the system and system administrator session controls. The session manager creates time-restricted sessions for each user based on system parameters. For example, sessions can be terminated that exceed a predetermined amount of time or when inactivity exceeds preset parameters. |
Central Logging and Reporting
Webthority is capable of a full range of event logging and allows specific types of events to be classified into multiple levels of priority. Sample event log options include failed authentication, component failure and user session expiry. Additionally, a variety of easily understood reports can be generated from collected data. |

Integration with Other PassGo Products
Webthority is able to integrate seamlessly with other PassGo products, namely NC-Pass and PassGo SSO for mainframe user authentication (RACF, TOPS, ACF2) plus nine different handheld tokens and smartcard devices and Defender for two-factor authentication.
