The user then enters this one-time password into their application login screen for Challenge-Response authentication. |

Defender DualTOK |
The key advantage of the DualTOK is its Synchronous or Asynchronous operation:
- Synchronous mode allows the generation of a one-time password at the press of a button.
- Asynchronous mode presents the user with a challenge number which they enter on the token keypad. The DualTOK Key Chain Token* will then generate a response to the challenge which the user enters as their one-time password to complete their login process.
The DualTOK may also be secured in either Synchronous or Asynchronous mode by means of a PIN number which allows the user to lock the token, protecting it from unauthorized use.

These eTokens are both cost-effective and easy to use and can be carried on a key ring or in a pocket. When combined with Defender a user is able to store their Defender security token on either device.
