Defender with eToken provides Strong Authentication for eBusiness and Network Security

The range of authentication devices offered by Defender has been extended to include support for the Aladdin eToken R2.

The eToken R2 is a USB device, the size of a small house key, offering two-factor authentication in a robust and powerful form.

The eToken R2 features onboard 120-bit DESX for authentication protocols. It combines high security with simple implementation for enhanced user authentication, access control and data confidentiality and encrypts credentials such as private keys, passwords and digital certificates.

It is both cost-effective and easy to use and can be carried on a key ring or in a pocket. The eToken R2 can be taken from one workstation to another and does not need a dedicated separate reader.

When combined with the eToken R2, Defender provides the ideal solution for a wide variety of security applications, including:

• Extranets/Intranet access authentication.
• VPN authentication.
• Secure remote access server (RAS) authentication.
• Secure network logon.
• Email communications, encryption and signing.
