PassGo Extends Two-Factor Authentication to the Citrix® MetaFrame® Access SuitePassGo Technologies and Citrix Systems, Inc. have partnered to extend two-factor authentication to the Citrix® MetaFrame® Access Suite. By integrating PassGo’s Defender product with MetaFrame Access Suite products, the level of security required to access sensitive corporate information is greatly increased. PassGo’s Defender 5 provides strong, two-factor authentication to identify users before granting them access to critical business resources. The authentication process requires two separate factors to be checked: something a user knows (his password) and something the user has (his Defender token). Defender supports a number of hardware and software token devices, along with Defender Mobile, where the end user’s mobile phone becomes the security device. To support MetaFrame Presentation Server with Web Interface, a Defender agent is installed on the Web Interface Web server. When the user connects via a Web Interface, a two-factor authentication sequence must be performed before the user is presented with their desktop from the MetaFrame Presentation Server. PassGo Defender 5 works with MetaFrame Password Manager in a number of configurations to provide enterprise single sign-on:
