PassGo Technologies gains on previous years ranking

PassGo Technologies has announced, for the second year in a row, their listing in the Software Magazine Software 500. The 2003 Software 500, 21st Annual Ranking of the World's Largest Software and Service Providers shows PassGo Technologies gain upon its previous ranking of 487th last year, rising to 383rd in 2003.

Software Magazine’s Software 500 list of the world's foremost software and service providers is published online at www.softwaremagazine.com as a database searchable by 38 categories. It takes a comprehensive look at the enterprise software landscape, encompassing both public and private companies that develop and market business software for a wide variety of industries. The Software 500 list is open to any company to submit financial and product information via the annual Software 500 survey.

The ranking is based on total worldwide software and service revenue. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, and software-related services and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. Every attempt to base revenues on the calendar year to measure firms over the same four quarters; fiscal year exceptions are noted in the footnotes. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by the Standish Group with King Content Co. and posted at www.softwaremag.com, as well as from public documents. All the charts are based on the survey results.
