PassGo's latest version of SSO Plus boasts new features led by the user community
SSO Plus learns the logon details of each application started on your desktop, when the application is next started, SSO Plus automatically replays the required user ID and password. Logon details are stored in a Secure Password Repository on the computer using AES 128-bit encryption. SSO Plus now has a new ‘passive’ working mode which automatically learns application logon details and stores them in the Secure Password Repository. In passive mode SSO Plus does not ask the user before storing logon details nor does it replay the stored details when the user re-visits the web site. If a user accesses a web page six months later and has forgotten their user ID and password, they can check in the Secure Password Repository and find out what the values are. In this mode, SSO Plus acts simply as a reminder without interrupting anything a user does. The second new feature is the ability to launch applications from the system tray. When the user right-clicks on the SSO Plus icon in the system tray, there is a new menu item "Launch Stored Web Site". Clicking on this will list all the web pages for which SSO Plus has remembered logon details. Clicking on one will automatically start Internet Explorer, navigate to the web page and enter the stored credentials. * free for non-commercial use
