PassGo Technologies has extended the list of supported platforms to include SuSE Linux version 10

PassGo UNIX Privilege Manager (UPM) allows delegation of root privileges while providing an indelible audit trail, bringing powerful new functionality to UNIX systems. First, it allows the full administrative powers of the root (or any other) account to be selectively delegated to trusted users without having to disclose the root password, thereby maintaining system security. Second, it provides an indelible audit trail of all actions occurring in important accounts such as root, which allows sites to track exactly which actions have been undertaken, by which people, when, and on which machine.

“We take pride in the fact that the development of our enterprise Identity and Access Management products is driven by trends observed throughout our world wide customer base” said Peter Cooke Product Specialist at PassGo Technologies, adding “Our commitment to Linux helps ensure that our IAM products remain at the forefront of technology.”

SuSE® Linux Enterprise 10 is marketed by Novell as the only enterprise-grade Linux platform offering a complete solution for mission-critical needs—from the desktop to the data center.   UNIX Privilege Manager supports SuSE Linux versions from release 8 on both zSeries and Intel architecture.
