Success at the RSA and SANS ConferencesRepresentatives from PassGo Technologies have recently enjoyed fantastic levels of attendance during their exhibitions at the RSA and SANS conferences in America, and would like to kindly thank everyone who visited the PassGo stand.
The Fifteenth Annual RSA conference, held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, opened on the 13th February. PassGo was sited on the OATH stand and was demonstrating its adherence towards the Open Authentication initiative, with its award winning two-factor authentication solution, Defender. As a coordinating member of the OATH initiative, PassGo were able to display to its many visitors how Defender seamlessly interacts with OATH compliant devices, in providing the necessary protection from today’s access and identity related threats.
February 24th saw the start of the SANS 2006 Event at Lake Buena Vista, FloridaFollowing the success of RSA, PassGo further demonstrated the functionality and capabilities of Defender 5, but also took time to showcase some exciting new developments with other products from their wide range of security software solutions. The recent release of Unix Privilege Manager 5.0 (UPM 5) prompted a demonstration of the new features and benefits included in this latest version. Visitors to the stand were amongst the first to watch the new UPM 5 video, which presents an insightful overview to the importance of regulatory compliance within a Unix environment and how UPM 5 achieves these standards easily and efficiently. Observers were impressed by the complex firewall and NAT support of UPM 5, and also welcomed the inclusion of the new upgrade and rollback features, enhanced encryption, multi-instance support and anti-spoofing measures. The UPM 5 video is also available to view or download at http://www.unix-pm.com. The event was also an opportunity to introduce PassGo SafeKeeping, which delivers a solution to the management of shared administrative account credentials. SafeKeeping provides a secure, automated mechanism for request, authorization, release and change of administrative accounts. We hope that you found our displays helpful and informative. If you require any further information on any of our products, or if you missed us at the shows and are interested to learn how PassGo can help protect your networks, please contact us, and one of our representatives will be very happy to help.
