PMC and the UPM and URM Graphical User Interface

The PassGo Management Console (PMC) is an exciting new development which gives you a single point of entry to your PassGo products. The PMC will give you a fully self contained web based Graphical User Interface to the management functions of your PassGo security products. The first component to be included in the PMC will be the UNIX Privilege Manager and this implementation will be followed by the provisioning product UNIX Resource Manager.

UNIX Privilege Manager has long been a critical component of the security infrastructure of many major corporations worldwide. PassGo has recently upgraded the graphical interface of the product to be part of the web based PMC.

This extension to the product, supplements the existing interfaces at the command line, and provides the ability to access configuration information as well as audit and trace logs.

The use of a secure, digest based communication, and an embedded web server removes the need to install additional, dedicated web server products and ensures that all administration carried out through the interface is fully secured.

Additionally, with the inclusion of the new script building wizard, along with sample scripts, and a wealth of script resources available from PassGo Support, the graphical interface provides a highly practical product extension to assist in the deployment and configuration of UPM within a new or existing environment.
