Toronto – Federation of Security Professionals Seminar 22-23 April 2004
The core members of the FSP organization have their origins rooted in three mainframe security user groups: ECAUG (Eastern Canada ACF2 Users Group), ORUG (Ontario RACF Users Group, and TORTUS (TORonto Topsecret USers). PassGo attended FSP in order to promote both PassGo the company and in particular, raise awareness of Defender across all platforms, within security focused companies in the Toronto area. The FSP seminar is held within the headquarters of Canada's largest bank. It is therefore not at all surprising that the event is well attended by the big financial players from Toronto's business district, who, it has to be said, make a point of attending. Defender 5 was extremely well received by everyone attending, without exception. A pattern of interest quickly became apparent, with a substantial number of customers using other products making serious enquiries as to cost effective and fully featured alternatives. Key issues would appear to be price and token form factor, allowing us to strike with the sheer competitiveness of Defender bundled with Go-3 tokens and greatly simplified administration.
