DualTOK Key Chain Token with protective cover

Pittsburgh, PA – 25 September 2005 — today announced support for a new key-fob token delivered in the form of easy-to-use key chain and pin pad token.

The addition of this new token continues the company's goal for delivering much greater token choice than other software vendors, with a broader vision of ubiquitous adoption of strong two-factor authentication solutions by businesses and consumers alike.

For enterprises needing highly scalable user authentication for SSL VPNs, Citrix applications, Web applications, VPN / firewalls, desktop logins and access servers supporting RADIUS®, Defender 5.1 provides a standards-based, strong two-factor authentication security solution using vendor independent hardware and software tokens.

"PassGo is committed to the adoption of emerging token technology within the Defender product range. Extending our portfolio of two-factor authentication offerings ensures our customers are provided the widest possible choice” said Dan King-Briton Head of It Security Research at PassGo Technologies.

“We have noticed a significant increase in the levels of interest since Defender was awarded the prestigious SC Magazine ‘Best Buy Two Factor Authentication Product’, and with the addition of this new Activcard® DualTOK, things can only get better” said David Miles Product Manager at PassGo Technologies, adding, “Defender is fast becoming the keystone of many an organization’s identity and access management strategy, enabling greater protection of their digital identities, transactions and communications”.

Following the recent promotion of the DualTOK, the competition winner was drawn at random by Rick Bellwood CISSP from the National Security Branch of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada (PSEPC). The winner received a Sony Playstation Portable as the prize, details can be found at www.passgo.com.
