PassGo has extended Defender 5.2 providing additional reports

There have been a number of recent changes to the Reporting Module within PassGo's Defender product. Several of the reports have been enhanced with the addition of new categories and features which make monitoring and administering Defender easier.

New features in the Reporting Module include an audit of users who have been assigned Helpdesk tokens and a report to list Defender accounts that have been locked out through excessive authentication violations. Both of these reports will enable organizations to provide a more secure infrastructure and assist with regulatory compliance.

To further enhance the reporting capabilities, it is now possible to schedule reports to run at a pre-determined time each day, week or month. The automatically scheduled reports are stored within the reporting module and can be viewed at a later date through the report console interface.

To future proof a company’s investment in Defender, the reporting module and all reports are now compatible with Microsoft Vista.

Reports available in the latest version are:

Authentication Violation

This report provides a per-line summary of each authentication violation reported by a given Defender Security Server over a specific period.

User Activity

This report provides information on active and inactive Defender Users.

Authentication Log

This report provides a per-line summary of each authentication request processed by a given Defender Security Server (DSS) over a specific period

Audit Trail

This report provides a view of the audit trail produced by a given Defender Security Server (DSS) over a specific period

Authentication Statistics

This report provides a summary of the authentication activity at a specified Defender Security Server (DSS) over a given period

Tokens

This report provides information on Defender Tokens. The report shows token types and assigned and non-assigned tokens

Defender Security Server Configuration

This report shows configuration information for a Defender Security Server.

License Information

This report provides information relating to the installed Defender license. This report also displays Desktop Token Licenses purchased and the number that have been assigned.

Scheduled Tasks

This report shows the scheduled reporting tasks.
